Collective Arts is Having an Arty-Party

By: Zach Buck

Collective Arts (based in Hamilton, ON) is a pretty solid brewery.

First of all, they support wicked street artists, and put them in a gallery setting.

Second, they REALLY like Music. Watch Hozier perform in one of their Black Box Sessions.

And, third, they’re having a party in Toronto this month to debut their new labels!

The party, open to the public, is in celebration of Collective Arts’ Series 4 launch. the Rhyme & Reason and Saint of Circumstance brewers are famous for putting visual artists’ work on their bottle labels, and their 4th series has some of the most amazing art yet.

Series 4 also commemorates the brewery’s 1 year anniversary. Apparently they’ve been doing pretty well in the last year, because 2200 artists applied this year for the coveted spots on those brown bottles. Check the 80 winners here.

AND, one more cool thing, the labels are scannable. Scan the labels with a Blipparr app for free artist bios, music, and more.

The party to launch the 80 new art labels is February 19 at the Garrison, starting at 7:30. Check the fb event page.
