Donk is a London born and based photographer, print maker and street artist, working within the paste-up tradition. He has been placing his work onto the streets of London and elsewhere since 2008. Developing and combining his original photography, printmaking and hand finishing techniques. His images are often inhabited by his family & friends who take on various roles within his work. The strongly evocative and anachronistic images remix urban history and culture, across a time line of his own making, at once referencing the past and the contemporary to make playful connections between universal themes of human strength, vulnerability and the passage of time.
Donk didn’t have a headshot – but this is a painting his father did of him, it runs in the family!
