Elliott Gwynne

Elliott Gwynne is our Territory Manager and Sales Representative for Hamilton and Niagara regions. You may recognize him from iconic moustache, his eye-catching watches, or that always-smiling face popping in to say hello! When he’s not selling beer, he’s playing with his band, The Medicine Hat which is also part of our newly-revealed Series 7 artists!

What do you find most enjoyable about working in the brewing industry?

Working on the sales team of CA combines my two favourite things, craft beer, and spreading the joy of something you are passionate about to people who respect the same thing. Representing a brewery that not only has incredible beer, but also shows the most amount of support to the artists and musicians around the world really speaks to me as a fellow musician.

People would be surprised to know:

I have a Bachelors of Music Degree! Although my life pretty much revolves around beer, music is #1 in my heart. I also love watches, and I have way too many of them.

What do you do when you’re not working?

Outside of the beer world, I play bass in my band The Medicine Hat, as well as a few other musical projects and bands whenever I have time for them! I love being busy, so I am beerslinger by day, and musician by night. Thats relaxing for me!

Favourite Collective Arts’ artist or musician?

Gotta say that I’m pretty stoked to have discovered new music from a beer bottle, but notable mentions have to be Madaila, Terra Lightfoot, July Talk, and HIGHS. CA has some good taste in great music.

What do you enjoy about working with CAB?

How passionate everyone is about going to work. I work with some of the hardest working people I have ever met, and we are all in it for the same thing: spreading the good word of craft beer and being a huge hang.

Number 1 thing on your bucket list.

I need to meet Bootsy Collins. He is the funkiest thing to ever have graced this planet, and I wish to someday dress like him. (Google him, you won’t be disappointed).

How did you get started in the craft brewing industry?

Beer has always been a hobby of mine, whether it be shotgunning tall boys in high school, or deciphering what kinds of hops are in the newest double IPA from the newest craft brewery. With my work history focusing on bar service and retail sales, a craft beer sales representative was the next logical step!
