Heat’s debut album Overnight openly displays their influences of atmospheric, guitar-driven 1980s UK bands like the Psychedelic Furs or Echo and the Bunnymen. Along with a vocal style reminiscent of Lou Reed or Julian Casablancas, the Montreal group has still managed to weave their myriad of influences into a unique sound of their own.

They joined us in the Collective Arts Black Box to perform two songs from their recently released debut album Overnight.
