HUMANS consists of two humans & producers Robbie Slade and Peter Ricq, who, after years of making dark but danceable indie-electronic in the form of mixtapes and EPs, released their debut full-length NOONTIDE in February 2015. The new record really hones in their talent of seamlessly blending pop catchiness with experimental electronic sounds, and the result is so much synth instrumental awesome. It was released via Hybridity Music, one of Canada’s leading independent electronic labels.

HUMANS’ music have lead them on a North American tour in 2013, including slots at Osheaga, Squamish Valley Music Fest, Bass Coast, SXSW, Shambhala and CMJ. Their music has been featured in placements with Red Bull, Entourage, CSI, and MTV. When not making music, Slade works on a number of projects including Bass Coast Festival, while Ricq is a well respected indie director and illustrative visual artist. Furthering their accolades, Noontide was a BreakOut West Nominee for Electronic/Dance Recording of the 2015 and they premiered their video for ‘Tell Me’ on
