After spending a year and a half working on their 2013 record Beta Love, Ra Ra Riot planned on taking an extended break to recover. The itch to write came quickly though, and within just a few months they already started working on their next album, Need Your Light. Frontman Wes Miles enlisted the aid of Rostam Batmanglij, formerly of Vampire Weekend and long-time collaborator of Miles, to flesh out song ideas that culminated in “Water” and “I Need Your Light”. Watch them perform the aforementioned “Water”, plus “Foreign Lovers”, both from their latest album.

Be sure to catch Ra Ra Riot live at Field Trip this weekend! Check out the full festival schedule here.
