CA: What stands out for you as one of your favourite career highlights so far?

BK: My highlights are working with amazing clients where there's a real sense of collaboration...that's my favourite. I have lots of future favourites still to come...

CA: What are you currently working on?

BK: I am currently working on a bunch of personal pieces that will be used for self-promotion.

CA: How’d you get started as an artist/musician?

BK: I started promoting my work during my last year of college and actually got my first job with The Globe & Mail while still in school. While it didn't go smoothly, i definitely learned a lot about working with clients' expectations.

CA: Who or what influences your art?

BK: My influences are varied and change constantly but some constants are Japanese woodcuts and 50's ephemera.

CA: What is your creative process like?

BK: My process involves a lot of scribbling, sketching, research, word play and experimentation.

CA: How do you feel our Art + Brewing initiative can benefit emerging artists?

BK: Getting your work in front of an audience is a good thing for any artist.
