Humble Raja is the working alias for Bhavesh & Reena Mistry, two Gujarati-Canadian illustrators based in Toronto that share India’s culture through design. We exploe the stories that aren’t commonly told, in ways that are a little unconventional. Curiosity is at the centre of what we do. Indian culture is more than its music and colours, Bollywood and butter chicken; we’re interested in the obscure, the magical and the extensive history that shaped who we are today. We’re visual storytellers using design and illustration to celebrate these ideas, to bring our world a bit closer and spark our collective curiosity.
