Jess grew up in Niagara, Ontario. Her work is strongly influenced by toys from the ’90s, slightly unnerving clowns, and candy wrappers. She likes working with naive and simple shapes balanced in chaotic worlds with acidic palettes. Some of her awards include the Society of Illustrators Warby Parker Visionary Scholarship Award‏‏‎ and the New Talent Award in the Exploration Category from the World Illustration Awards. Her clients include The New Yorker, Medium, and Readers Digest.
