What stands out for you as one of your favourite career highlights so far?

Over the last year, I've been lucky enough to collaborate with a growing number of Women focused companies and organizations, which have lead to some really fun product launches to come really soon! I very much enjoy making illustrations that end up taking on a physical form.

What are you currently working on?

I am currently in the process of completing the illustrations for a kids book, as well as working on a couple of exciting collaborations with LGBTQ+ organizations. Good stuff!

How’d you get started as an artist?

After completing a college degree in Illustration as well as a Bachelor's of Design, I worked (and am still working) towards becoming a multidisciplinary creator, aiming to have a practice that encapsulates all the different skills and interests I had acquired during my art school years.

What is your creative process like?

There's not much to my process, but I do often have a colour scheme in mind before even starting to sketch. Once I have an idea, I bounce from paper, to iPad, to computer and I keep going until the chaos starts looking like the original thought I pictured in my mind . Also, having fun is mandatory!

How do you feel our Art + Brewing initiative can benefit emerging artists?

I think Collective Arts is a wonderful platform that allows visual artists to have their works broadcasted in a way that shows the consumer how important art is in our everyday. Having illustrations on packaging can sometimes go overlooked, but with the efforts of Collective Arts, the work of visual artists gets showcased and highlighted, and I think that's really special.
