Doras is an Irish-Canadian artist, muralist and director located in Montréal, Quebec. O’Brien has been working as an artist since 2012 and painting murals since 2017. His work is colourful and dream-like, often combining historical ornament and iconography with the language of contemporary fantasy and rendered in a style that focuses heavily on scale, contour and colour relationships.. His large-scale pieces draw from his background in illustration, featuring objects, scenes and characters that might easily have been ripped from the pages of a book.
