Sales & Marketing Coordinator – Collective Project, Full-time, Hamilton ON

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator – Collective Project will help oversee the implementation of the brand plan including communications, social media, and field marketing. They are responsible for the activation of the Collective Arts Project brand in all channels, helping to lead and execute annual brand plans, and providing the brand guidelines and tools for sales-led executions.
They will work with the Brand Marketing Director and Sales Directors to interpret the brand plan for each market to build programs that raise awareness, build brand equity, contribute to profitable growth and ensure our sales team is representing Collective Project as intended. The Sales & Marketing Coordinator assists with the strategy and is accountable for the specific marketing budget while leading the execution of Brand, Trade, and Field Marketing plans.
A typical day as a Sales & Marketing Coordinator includes:
  • Working with the management team to build the key initiatives calendar for sales and marketing
  • Act as the POS quarterback between design, sales, marketing, and communication
  • Responsible for building the strategy & assets for the trade marketing and brand activation sections of the annual brand plan, including POS, channel programs, and events
  • Manage the planning and execution of sales tools and marketing strategy through the coordination of team needs, design, suppliers, and deadlines for all markets
  • Development and communication of program kits
  • Brand materials (coasters, glassware, pull up banners, zine)
  • Design, procurement and delivery of on-premise POS needs as prescribed in the brand plan (a-frame, neon..)
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Director to monitor sales tools, event kits, and POS budget lines
  • Seek cost efficiencies in process, ordering, and delivery of POS (competitive quotes, negotiation, RFP), as well as quality, timely goods
  • Manage Imprint Anything & Boelter relationships, lead the strategy of warehousing and shipment
  • Strategizes influencer campaigns to execute; researching and liaising with influencers, and reporting back on campaign metrics. Work with sales teams to find the best touchpoints in their markets to distribute influencer packages
  • Managing Collective Arts email marketing subscriber list and execution plan, finding ways to promote to new subscribers, building out campaigns, managing the email plan and schedule
  • Helping to manage and strategize Collective Project’s social channels
We’re looking for candidates who have/are:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a previous marketing management position
  • Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business or related field
  • Previous CPG experience is an asset
  • Previous cannabis experience is an asset
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
  • A strong attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve effectively and handle multiple tasks
