Senior Inventory Control Specialist, Full-time, Hamilton ON

Collective Arts Brewing is on the search for a Senior Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. The Senior Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for our end-to-end inventory processes across multiple sites and ensure that inventory balances are reconciled on a timely basis for all product categories. Accurate reporting will be key to facilitate sales and strengthen our business intelligence efforts. We are looking for a candidate who has previous inventory experience, is highly organized, self-driven and has the ability to work well with a team. This candidate has previous experience in a manufacturing setting and the ability to work in a very fast paced setting.
A typical day as an Inventory Control Coordinator includes:
  • Processing systemic inventory transfers with an emphasis on timeliness and accuracy
  • Organizing monthly physical inventory counts and reconciling to systemic counts
  • Performing ad-hoc inventory reviews and audits to improve results
  • Working closely with the operations team, specifically production and packaging when confirming allocation of quantities off the production lines
  • Participating in regular production and forecasting meetings to stay abreast of release dates, product availability and package dates
  • Developing and executing initiatives to improve shipping accuracy in all inventory locations
  • Collaborating with Finance team on month-end reconciliations and find any opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Maintaining an organized inventory data set
  • Comfortable leading training sessions for team and build SOPs to ensure a cross-functional procedure is in place
We’re looking for candidates who have/are:
  • A love for DATA
  • Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in Business Operations, Logistics, or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years working experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or Finance with hands-on experience working with demand, inventory and supply chain
  • APICS (CPIM, CSCP, or CIRM) designation is a strong asset
  • Previous experience with inventory control and accuracy
  • Experience using SAP or similar inventory systems (ERPS)
  • Ability to build functional relationships across various departments and be able to influence cross functionally
  • KPI reporting experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience using excel to capture, manipulate, and organize complex data
  • Understanding of manufacturing, packaging and/or the brewing process, is an asset
