Dartmouth, Nova Scotia native Adam Baldwin released No Rest for the Wicked last month. The veteran musician has spent the past 15+ years toughing it out on tour and in the studio as a solo artist and as a guitarist in Matt Mays’ band.
The new EP resulted from a lengthy and very personal creative period during which he confronted his substance abuse issues and penned over twenty songs. Described as “a haunted reckoning of his relationship with his own wicked self,” Baldwin worked out many of the new songs during long drives through “the gritty, sad, burnt out parts” of Dartmouth, he says.
