California knows how to party, and our friends at Alvarado Street Brewery know how to make a super flavourful Double IPA! So we teamed up with them to make a delicious beer in the classic West Coast style. Dry hopping at a rate of 18g/l with Galaxy, Enigma and Mosaic give huge tropical fruit notes and a fresh berry character.
Big Cat Roars launches at the brewery Saturday, Nov. 2 in cans to go and on tap. We’ll also have it on tap Friday, Nov. 1 at our Jane’s Party/Frankiie concert (tickets are still available). Coming soon to Ontario bars and select US markets.
Based on Monterey, CA, Alvarado Street Brewery is family owned and extremely proud to be a part of the Monterey Peninsula community. In 2014, father-and-son team J.C. and John Hill opened the brewery and restaurant on, as you might expect, Alvarado Street, and they’ve since also opened a 60 seat Beer Garden to replace the back parking lot of the restaurant, and open a 20 bbl production facility and tasting room in Salinas.
