Sisters Contra and Eboshi make up hip-hop duo Cartel Madras. One way they describe their sound is, “it’s like getting punched in the face… but you’re really enjoying it.” We caught up with them after their killer performance at our festival this past summer.
Since then, they released their first full-length EP, “Age of the Goonda” on Nov. 1, a follow up to their debut mixtape, Project Goonda Part 1: Trapistan, which came out in 2018.
