Bring a mainstay of the 1920s Jazz Age into 2020! A Gin Gimlet is traditionally made with just two ingredients: gin and lime juice. The Collective Plumlet takes this classic to another level, complementing the tart lime with the spicy-sweetness of our Plum and Blackthorn gin. Add in (gasp, a THIRD ingredient) homemade Plum Cordial, and you’ve got a perfectly balanced, gorgeous drink.
1.5 oz Plum & Blackthorn Gin⠀
1.5 oz Plum Cordial*
1/3 oz Lime Juice
Note: If this isn’t sweet enough for your palate, add a dash of honey!⠀
Add all your ingredients to your shaker. Fill with ice and give a vigorous shake. Double Strain into your favourite Coupe glass.⠀
*Making Plum Cordial at home is simple! Blend 4 cups (approx. 3 plums) of plums with 2 cups granulated sugar, 0.5 cup water and 2 tbsp Orange Juice. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours before straining. Can last up to 2 weeks in the fridge.
