The upcoming presidential election in the United States is crucial to the future of the country and the world, and yet; voter suppression is rampant. State after state has passed measures to make it harder for Americans — particularly Black people, the elderly, students, and people with disabilities — to exercise their fundamental right to cast a ballot. From voter ID laws to cutting back on early voting to purges of voter rolls, the voting rights of so many people are under attack.
Making beer has given us a platform and we believe it’s our responsibility to use that platform to spur the positive change we want to see in the world. Call it “getting political” if you want, but it is up to all of us to fight injustice and that’s a fight we are proud to be a part of. The right to vote is fundamental to a democracy and must be protected.
That’s why we’ve launched a new Collective More. campaign including special-edition t-shirts and cans of Life in the Clouds in support of the American Civil Liberties Union’s fight against voter suppression.
Our limited-edition VOTE t-shirts are available now in our online shop and ship worldwide. All net proceeds from these shirts will be donated to the ACLU.
Limited-edition VOTE cans of Life in the Clouds DDH IPA are rolling out now in all of our US markets! Look for them wherever you buy your beer. 10 cents from every can sold will be donated to the ACLU.
