Who or what influences your art?
Everything is grist for the mill; from cinema to music like jazz, psych rock, rockabilly, punk, and ambient. Vintage comic strips and, of course, photography are also continual sources of inspiration. What is your creative process like?
When I’m not drawing in the studio I’m usually pounding the pavement with my camera. I’m compelled to make images whether it’s for a client or just for myself. I’m a perpetual student of my craft. What stands out for you as one of your favourite career highlights so far?
Being included in the prestigious Illustration Now Vol 5 published by TASCHEN Books.
How do you feel our Art + Brewing initiative can benefit emerging artists?
Any opportunity to showcase one’s work across different platforms is always a great thing.
