Ronan Lynam saw one of our first calls for art and thought, “maybe they’ll like my stuff.” A few years later his art’s been on our labels 11 times and we’ve worked with him on several other projects. And now, we’re excited to have him as our latest Resident Artist!
Currently based in Washington, DC, Ronan works as an illustrator specializing in providing vivid and colorful illustrations for a wide variety of promotional, editorial & retail projects. He has contributed to business & franchises including Threadless, The Cleveland Scene, The Muppets, Detroit’s Metro Times, MTV, the (amazing) comedy podcast Professor Blastoff, The Yetee, the Colorado Symphony, Portland’s Willamette Week and many more.
Ronan was first featured on our labels in Series 4, with his piece, “Rocket Cats.” He continued submitting to our Calls for Art and his fun, vibrant art has been appearing on our labels consistently ever since.
Art connects us. The Collective Arts Resident Artist Program invites artists to collaborate with us in their home cities to create art, build community, and inspire creativity on a global scale. Our Resident Artist Program looks to create paying opportunities for artists, document and promote the process, and build lasting relationships in arts communities around the globe. We believe that the more creativity there is in the world, the better, and we’d like to introduce you to the people behind this creative movement. Follow along and meet the artists that we work with, their influences and the environmental inspirations behind their work.
