Last summer ROMES took the stage on Day 2 of our festival. But before they performed they were, as they put it, “left to their own devices in a brewery… what could go wrong?”

Well, we think they had good time and we had a fun chat with them on topics like how they’ve changed as a band, their ever-evolving live show and who they’d like to collaborate with.

Comprised of brothers Jacob and Nick Bitove, Andrew Keyes and James Tebbit, ROMES is now based in Toronto but first starting playing music together in Wicklow, Ireland, where all four were going to school. Their debut self-titled album was released in October of 2017 and included the hit single “Tryna Be”, which hit No. 26 on the Canadian Top 40 chart.
