AUDIO/VISUAL PRESENTS: JJ WILDE

JJ Wilde is one of the four musical acts featured on our latest series of Audio/Visual Lager. Based in Kitchener, ON, Canada, music has permeated every part of JJ’s life since childhood and it’s something she’s held closely: an unwavering connection she’s fought to foster.

After years of writing songs and performing, she released her hit debut album “Ruthless” in June 2020. The record is a culmination of JJ’s journey: raw, rough and full of brutal honesty. “I wanted to tell people who I am, so they could enjoy it… or not.”⁠

“Ruthless” includes the hit single “The Rush”, which sat atop all three Canadian rock radio charts for an unprecedented 10-weeks. She was the first female to accomplish this feat, putting her on a very short list that includes the likes of Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Kings Of Leon and the Black Keys. “Best Boy”, JJ’s follow-up single to “The Rush” also became a hit and in mid November she released her latest single “Mercy”.
