Collective Arts started in 2013 as a small craft brewery in Hamilton, Ontario, with a big idea: creativity can connect people, uplift culture, and build our community. Eleven years later, we don't take our position for granted and understand our opportunity and responsibility to fuel economic growth in the places we call home.

Across Canada, we're feeling the strain of economic uncertainty. Whether it's inflation, job security, or rising costs, this moment (and let's be honest, Trump) tests the resilience of our drinkers and their families, the artists we work with, the suppliers we partner with, and more.

As we grow into a global brand, our roots remain firmly planted in Canada. Here are just a few ways we're working to contribute meaningfully at this moment:

Creating Jobs in Canada

  • We've built and kept jobs here
  • More than 100 Canadians work in our production and packaging facilities, which drives innovation, creates local employment, and generates tax revenue that stays in our communities
  • And it goes beyond just 100 jobs: according to Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters, every manufacturing job supports two more in the broader economy—from suppliers to logistics to retail*. That's how creativity fuels prosperity

Investing in Local Supply Chains

  • We source ingredients and materials from Canadian farmers and suppliers whenever possible
  • Research shows every $1 invested in local agriculture circulates an additional $0.40–$1.60 in nearby communities. These aren't just supply chain decisions—they're investments in rural vitality, food security, and a more resilient Canadian economy**
  • While our climate means we can't source everything domestically, our commitment to prioritizing Canadian partners remains unwavering

Supporting Canadian Creativity

  • Every year, we invest over $600,000 to support emerging artists
worldwide, with half being in Canada. Since 2013, we've worked with 500+ Canadian Artists and Musicians and paid $300,000+ directly to Canadian artists
  • Through our cans, events, and creative spaces, we provide paid opportunities for artists to share their work, grow their audience, and build a future in the arts.
  • The arts sector isn't just culture; it's economic power. It contributes $12.5 billion in GDP and supports over 700,000 jobs across Canada***

This isn't about patting ourselves on the back. It's about staying true to the values that got us here: creativity, community, and contribution. We're proud to call Canada home and even prouder to play a small role in helping it thrive
